Stamp-a-stack Projects

As promised, here are some snaps of the projects we worked on yesterday at the Stamp-a-stack (SAS). The idea of a SAS is to build up your stock of cards by having a mini-production line. Yesterday's class consisted of 10 cards (3 designs) with the focus on buildong our stock of gender neutral cards.

The first card (below) is a CASE (Copy and Share Everything) from Split Coast Stampers though I am very naughty and do not remember the person who posted it to give them credit. Edited to add: all credit for this design goes to Kimberly Joy on the SCS website...

Next are two designs based on sketches from Clean and Simple Stamping. This site is a great resource which I highly recommend.

As you can see each card is simple enough that we were able to complete 10 cards in the allocated 2 hours, with time to spare for lots of chatting and snacking, of course. I hope all the girls had a nice afternoon, I know I certainly did...

Happy Stampin'

Kylie

Phoebe's Punch Art

We've all been sick here over the past couple of weeks (that's why I have been such a bad blogger) but over the week-end I was having a play around with some punch art. I haven't done much before so I CASEd (Copy And Share Everything) a frog and and owl to start with. I found them both on Split Coast Stampers, a site that I highly recommend. Below are my versions...

I was pretty happy with them, though they are both yet to find their way onto a card or scrapbook page. My daughter Phoebe was impressed too, and came up with her own creations...she is much more origional than me and created them from her own imagination.

Can you tell what they are? Obviously, the lion is on the right and the panda is in the middle. The one on the left is a meerkat! She's done such a great job, I just had to post them here.

All the punches we used are SU! and include:

Scallop circle, 1 1/4" circle, 1/2" circle, 1/16'' circle, Wide oval, Large oval, Small oval, Word window, Horizontal slit and Round Tab. Phew, I hope I didn't forget any...I'm sure Phoebe will let me know if I did.

Cheers,

Kylie
